So today was our second rehearsal for Journey to the Manger was awesome! We got a lot of work done, both musically, and visually. Already we're sounding great musically, even though we were working on the most difficult song, and we're even now, during the second rehearsal, are really acting! Already the show looks like its going to be incredible by opening night.

An interesting experiance
I was listening to the song "In no Piano" from the anime, Darker than Black, when an image came into my head. It was a wolf, sitting down, staring at the camera, and the background is simply swirling snow. The wolf had sad eyes, but it was stoic, and strong, even though there was sorrow to it. The image was so strong, I had to draw it. It turned out beautifully. I was talking to my best friend, and he suggested that I look up dream meanings of wolves. I did, and after reading many of them, found ones that made sense. It was a desire of mine to stay pure in the face of a compromising, or dangerous situation. It was also my respect for wolves, because of their dignity, and purity while they survive in a hostile world. When I sat back and looked at it, it moved me to tears, in a good way.

First post
Well, Hello all!
This is my first post to this blog, in fact, to a blog ever. Last week's rehearsal was great fun, it was filled with friendship and good natured laughing. Its always fun starting a new show, seeing the new parts, and imagining how the show will turn out. I'm usually way off from how it actually turns out, but God is good like that, its always been way better than what I could imagine.
As for the comic scene, not much has happened. I've been really busy with life and school, so I haven't been able to do much work with any of the ideas I have. Once I can get some time, I'm ganna try to finish the storyboard for the first comic of the desert story.
